Beginning this summer, IL will offer Summer EBT, the new grocery EBT program for families with eligible school-age kids. The Summer EBT program is an effective tool in the fight against child hunger. Learn more about Summer EBT and how it will work with other USDA SUN Summer Nutrition Programs for Kids to support children and families.
Don't forget! West Prairie North Elementary School is hosting Math & Science Night tomorrow evening, April 24 from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. with a lite supper of pizza, carrots, chips and water provided from 5:30 - 6:00 p.m. for a good will donation. Our 6th grade students will be displaying and discussing their science projects. Some of our local businesses will be demonstrating how they use math and science in their careers, and our staff will have some hands-on math and science activities with a Make It and Take It activity as well. Each student who attends will receive a certificate for a FREE kid's meal from Arby's. We hope to see you all there!
